Started in 2020 by co-founders Alex Roberts and Izzy Fraire, 444 was founded in West Oakland as a hub for specialty coffee companies to flourish.

The two set out to create a crew of dedicated coffee professionals. Today, the 444 team is built on decades of experience in specialty coffee— from production roasting, to logistics and account management, to brewing and barista training. Now, with Accelerate, we’re offering access to that experience to the rest of the specialty coffee community.
